Job summary

Lotus Recruitment Ltd in Bolton is seeking a KS3 Mathematics Teacher with SEN experience to deliver autism-informed teaching to pupils with ASC in a small-class setting. You will adapt the KS3 curriculum to meet individual needs, supporting communication, emotional regulation, independence and wellbeing.

The ideal candidate holds QTS, has KS3 teaching experience and a strong ASC background, and will follow safeguarding procedures and school policies to contribute to pupil progress and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.
• Strong subject knowledge in Science.
• Experience teaching KS3.
• Extensive experience supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) in a SEND setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality, adapted KS3 lessons.
• Adapt the KS3 curriculum for pupils with ASC and associated needs.
• Use autism-informed approaches and structured routines.
• Create a calm, supportive learning environment.
