SEN Academic Coach

Are you a graduate with a passion for supporting neurodiverse learners and looking to gain experience in a school setting?

*** £81–£102 per day
*** Location: Wednesbury
*** 1:1 and small group support to students with autism and ADHD

The Role
As an SEN Academic Coach, you’ll deliver tailored academic and emotional support to students with autism and ADHD across Key Stages 3 and 4. You’ll lead focused interventions, help students manage attention and behaviour, and adapt tasks to ensure they can fully access the curriculum. Working closely with the SENCO and class teachers, your input will directly support student progress and confidence.

The Candidate
You’re a graduate with a background or interest in psychology, education or SEN. You’ll need to be patient, adaptable, and consistent—able to build trust and motivate students with a range of needs. Prior experience supporting young people, particularly those with additional needs, will be highly regarded. This is an excellent route for anyone considering educational psychology, teaching or specialist support work.
