Job summary

Academics Ltd is recruiting a SEN 1-1 Support Worker and Mentor in Cheltenham to help learners with special educational needs succeed. You will work 1-1 with students, support learning and personal development, and contribute to tailored intervention plans within a supportive school environment.

The role is term-time only, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, ASAP start, with a daily rate of £90-£105 DOE. A caring, patient, and adaptable approach is essential to help each learner reach their full

• Ability to support learning and personal development.
• Commitment to safeguarding policies.

Responsibilities

• Supporting learners on a 1-1 basis with their learning and personal development needs.
• Help with creating a safe and encouraging environment to help the learners you are supporting thrive.
• Assisting with learning and specific interventions to support progress.
• Monitoring achievements and helping students reach their full potential.
• Ensuring safeguarding policies are followed at all times.
• Mentor learners so that they are able to express themselves in a safe and controlled way.
