Job summary

IC Resources is seeking a Semiconductor Process Integration and Yield Engineer in the North East to drive development and integration of new process technologies and yield initiatives across existing manufacturing processes.

The role interfaces with the Operations Dept to ensure stable, robust, repeatable and high‑yielding manufacturing, while coordinating with environmental agencies to meet license requirements and operate compliantly.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Yield and process integration knowledge.
• Evidence of understanding development or production within a quality environment.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate new process technologies and yield improvement initiatives across existing production qualified processes.
• Interface with all disciplines within the Operations Dept to ensure stable, robust, repeatable and high yielding manufacturing processes.
• Monitor and maintain processes to meet customer needs and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with environmental agencies to ensure licenses to operate are fully adhered to.

Our client is developing cutting-edge, next generation compound semiconductors, and is a leader within the North East’s emerging semiconductor cluster. They are now searching for a Semiconductor Process Integration and Yield Engineer to be responsible for the development and integration new process technologies and yield improvement initiatives across existing production qualified manufacturing processes. The role will involve acting as interface with all disciplines within the Operations Dept to ensure stable, robust, repeatable, sustainable and high yielding manufacturing processes are achieved, monitored and maintained with the needs of the customer being paramount.The primary function of the role is to work closely with the environmental agencies and specialist consultants to ensure the plant and equipment are designed and operated in a manner that ensures the licenses to operate are fully adhered to and complied with.
