Job summary

CBSbutler Holdings Limited trading as CBSbutler is recruiting an Equipment Technician for a leading semiconductor manufacturing facility in Northamptonshire (rural location). The role covers maintaining and repairing advanced wafer fabrication and epitaxy equipment in a cleanroom environment, with exposure to electrical and mechanical fault-finding and high-tech processes.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, HNC/HND, Degree or equivalent)
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical equipment faults.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on semiconductor processing equipment.
• Support vacuum, pneumatic, electrical, RF and mechanical systems.
• Maintain gas delivery, exhaust and chemical handling systems safely.
• Manage critical spare parts and equipment availability.
• Drive continuous improvement to maximise equipment performance.
• Complete maintenance documentation and records.
• Work with production, engineering and facilities teams.
