Responsibilities As a Semi-Skilled Roofer, you will play an essential role in ensuring the safety and integrity of roofing structures. Your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Assisting in the installation, repair, and maintenance of various roofing systems, including shingles, metal, and flat roofs.
• Preparing and cleaning workspaces to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Safely utilizing tools and equipment such as ladders, nail guns, roofing hammers, and measuring tools.
• Collaborating with skilled roofers and the broader construction team to complete projects on time and to high quality standards.
• Adhering to all health and safety guidelines on-site and reporting any risks or hazards.
• Stripping old roofing materials and preparing surfaces for new installation.
• Identifying potential roofing issues and escalating concerns to the team lead or supervisor.
• Supporting general construction tasks as needed.
