Job summary

UKSE Group is looking for Semi-Skilled Operatives to join a water treatment project in Marlow. The role requires hands-on mechanical work in aeration lanes, cleaning, pipework removal and installation, and assisting with site duties on a 3-week contract starting 19/10/2026.

Candidates should hold Confined Space (Medium Risk), Thames Water Passport, and CSCS cards (training can be provided for the first two). PPE and high-visibility gear are supplied to ensure site safety.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have valid Confined Space (Medium Risk) certification, Thames Water Passport, and CSCS card.
• Water/wastewater treatment experience is preferred.
• Full PPE and high-visibility gear are provided.

Responsibilities

• Work within aeration lanes on a water treatment site.
• Carry out general mechanical and site duties including cleaning and removal of existing pipework.
• Assist with installation of new pipework and loading/removing pipework into skips.
• Follow site health and safety procedures at all times.
• Work as part of a team to ensure works are completed safely and efficiently.

Duration: 3-week contract
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am start

We are currently looking for a Semi-Skilled Operativesto work on a water treatment project in Marlow.

The successful candidates will be working within aeration lanes, carrying out general mechanical and site-based duties including cleaning, removal of existing pipework and installation of new pipework.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Working within aeration lanes on a water treatment site.
• Cleaning and preparing work areas.
• Ripping out and removing existing pipework.
• Assisting with the installation of new pipework.
• Loading and moving removed pipework and materials into skips.
• General semi-skilled mechanical/site duties.
• Following site health & safety procedures at all times.
• Working as part of a team to ensure works are completed safely and efficiently.

Requirements:

Candidates must have:

• Valid Confined Space (Medium Risk) certification (Training can be provided).
• Valid Thames Water Passport (Training can be provided).
• Valid CSCS Card. (Must Have)
• Previous water/wastewater treatment experience preferred.

• Full standard PPE.
• Full orange/high-visibility workwear.
• Steel toe-cap wellington boots.
