Semi Skilled Mechanic/Technician (Prep Centre)

AM Phillip Trucktech is a family business that has been trading for 70 years and is Scotland's leading commercial vehicle specialist.
We currently have six depots and are the sole IVECO dealer group in Scotland.
Additionally, we also represent Ford, Fiat, and Maxus commercial vehicle franchises.

We are currently recruiting for a Semi Skilled Mechanic/Technician for our Prep Centre in Forfar.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Preparing new and used vehicles.
  2. Replacing wheels and tyres.
  3. Performing routine maintenance and repairs.
  4. Assisting senior technicians with repairs and troubleshooting.
  5. Ensuring safety and compliance, following all regulations and best practices.
  6. Accurately recording maintenance activities.

What You’ll Bring:

  1. Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components.
  2. Strong problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.
  3. Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
  4. Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  5. Enthusiasm for the automotive industry with a drive to progress.
  6. Full UK Driving Licence.
