Job description

Semi-skilled CNC Machine machinists (milling) required. Candidates will have some previous experience of setting/operating CNC milling machines and be seeking to enhance their career development.

The role encompasses working within a team to produce precision parts and fittings using state of the art CNC based machinery. It is essential that applicants have some prior knowledge of using or working with such equipment. Candidates should also be comfortable assisting in other areas of the department to include technical inspection and measuring as required.

Successful candidates will receive on-going training to develop their skills further within the business. With a keen eye for detail, the role will appeal to those who are keen to become fully skilled precision engineers and relish working within an engineering environment.

Core skills include strong hand to eye co-ordination combined with attention to detail.

Working hours:

Rotation shifts

Morning Shift / Monday to Friday

Afternoon Shift / Monday to Thursday

Shift Pay

In addition to the basic hourly rate a further shift allowance of 12% (mornings) and 24% (afternoons) is awarded.

Overtime

Weekday/Saturday - time and one half. Sunday - double time

These positions are Permanent.

Due to the nature of working hours, applicants should have access to their own transport.
