Semi-Skilled Assembly Operative
12.85 per hour
Knowsley
Ongoing temporary with potential permanent
Monday to Thursday 8am to 4:30pm and Friday 8am to 1pm (37 hours per week)

A well-established SME in Knowsley are seeking a Semi-Skilled Assembly Operative to join their team. On offer is an hourly rate of 12.85 and hours are full-time Monday to Friday on days. This role is offered on an ongoing temporary basis so please only apply if you are seeking a temporary role with potential for permanent. Full training is also offered in this position.

Responsibilities:
  • Assembly of product as instructed.
  • Ensure assembly, inspection and test procedures are carried out using the correct tolls documentation and processes.
  • Maintain proper completion of job cards and other associated manufacturing processes.
  • Use and read measuring equipment as required.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and safe work area.
  • Carry out team designated functions.
  • Feedback to Supervision and other designated personnel regarding problems and issues which you encounter.
  • Assist in the introduction of new products into the assembly areas.
  • Pursue cost saving operation where appropriate.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Previous experience working within assembly.
  • Hard work ethic and a can-do attitude.
  • Reliable.
  • Able to provide 2 references.
