Job description

Tremendous opportunity for a newly started CTA to join this prestigious accountancy practice, working within the tax team, under the supervision of a Manager and Partner.

Responsible for a diverse portfolio of clients, split across personal and corporate tax.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with contact partner for each client, checking all incoming and outgoing post daily.
  • Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients.
Personal Tax
  • Process personal tax cases varying in complexity, including straightforward repayment claims and high network individuals, such as company directors, self-employed individuals, and partnerships.
Corporation Tax
  • Prepare computations and returns, which may include personal tax affairs of directors.
  • Monitor the corporation tax status of companies and produce monthly reports to ensure contact partners and managers are aware of clients’ corporation tax position.
Requirements
  • A willingness to progress and develop tax knowledge.
  • Good knowledge of Tax.
  • Ability to work on multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good English, both written and verbal.
  • Good time management with ability to meet deadlines.
  • Flexible attitude, with ability to prioritise workloads.
