Job summary

Knightwell Recruitment in Radcliffe, Greater Manchester, is seeking a Semi-Senior or Senior Accountant to join a friendly, close-knit team at an independent accounting firm. The role covers accounts and tax work for a range of clients in a varied practice.

Based in the Radcliffe office, you’ll prepare year-end accounts for limited companies and individuals, handle tax compliance, assist with bookkeeping and VAT, and liaise with clients to keep work on track for deadlines.

Qualifications

• Four years' recent experience in a UK accountancy practice.
• Experience preparing accounts and working on tax matters.
• Confidence communicating with clients and managing your own workload.

What you’ll need

• At least four years’ recent experience in a UK accountancy practice
• Experience preparing accounts and working on tax matters
• Confidence communicating with clients and managing your own workload

Qualifications are flexible: applications are welcome from AAT, ACCA or ACA candidates, as well as those qualified by experience. Full-time and part-time applicants will be considered.

The role is based in the Radcliffe office, so candidates should live locally, ideally within five miles.
