Description: Accounts Semi-Senior/ Senior opportunity - dynamic growing firm - North Birmingham

Your new company
A new opportunity has arisen to join the accounts team of a rapidly growing, modern, multi-office firm. Working in the firm's flagship offices, you will work with a mixed client base to assist them with accounts preparation work as part of a supportive and friendly team. Your new role
Working with a portfolio of SME/ OMB businesses, you will prepare financial statements and tax returns, liaising regularly with clients - supporting them with queries and providing support with accounting software. You will use a range of accounting packages, including Iris, Sage, Xero and Quickbooks and you will be able to demonstrate a strong level of capability in using such software. Working collaboratively with colleagues in the team and with other teams, you will work flexibly and manage your workload effectively to achieve deadlines.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you must be confidently able to prepare statutory accounts from start to finish along with personal tax and corporate tax returns and will have gained solid experience within an accountancy practice working with sole traders, limited companies and partnership clients. You will ideally hold AAT, ACCA or ACA qualifications or will be progressing well with completion. Individuals who are qualified by experience with relevant practice experience will also be considered.
