What you’ll be doing

  • Audit delivery & leadership– Complete statutory audits as part of a small team in year one, progressing to lead selected group audits in year two.
  • Client portfolio management– Own and nurture a mixed portfolio of SME accounts, becoming the go-to adviser for day-to-day queries.
  • Deadline ownership– Plan, delegate and review jobs so that everything is filed on time and on budget, escalating issues promptly.
  • Problem-solving– Spot technical or commercial issues early and propose pragmatic solutions that add value for the client.
  • Mentoring– Coach and review trainees’ work, helping to shape the next cohort of professionals.

What we’re looking for

  • Part-qualified ACA (typically 6–12 exams passed) with at least18 months’UK practice experience.
  • Solid grounding in FRS 102/105 and a working knowledge of ISA audit standards.
  • Confident communicator who enjoys client contact and can juggle multiple assignments.
  • Ambitious, curious and keen to progress to a Senior Accountant role within 12-24 months.
