Christopher Brian Recruitment Limited in Reading is partnering with a well-established accountancy practice to recruit an Audit Semi Senior. The role covers planning through completion of audits and offers ACA/ACCA study support within a friendly, collaborative team.

You will work on a varied portfolio across industries, assist with audit work papers, and progress towards professional qualifications with mentoring and structured training.

Qualifications

• Experience in UK accountancy practice audit.
• Candidates studying toward ACA or ACCA encouraged.
• Relevant practical auditing experience welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with audit assignments from planning through to completion
• Preparing audit working papers and supporting fieldwork on-site and remotely
• Preparing statutory accounts and corporation tax computations where required
• Working directly with clients across a wide range of industries
• Supporting and reviewing work completed by junior team members as your experience grows
• Working closely with Managers and Partners to deliver high-quality client service
• Continuing your ACA or ACCA studies with full support from the firm

We're working with a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Reading that is looking to recruit an Audit Semi Senior following continued expansion.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with audit assignments from planning through to completion

About You

We're keen to hear from candidates with previous UK accountancy practice audit experience, ideally around 18 months or more. Applicants studying towards ACA or ACCA are particularly encouraged to apply, although those with relevant practical experience will also be considered.
