Job summary

BK Plus in Aldridge is seeking a Semi Senior Accountant to join our busy accounts office. You will work with the accounts team to produce Limited company, sole trader and partnership accounts, as well as corporation tax returns and personal tax returns.

You will communicate with HMRC, prepare statutory accounts, management accounts and personal tax returns, and review junior work while assisting with training. Client meetings by phone/email and in person will be common.

Qualifications

• 3 years practice experience required
• Able to meet deadlines
• Experience using Sage, Xero, CCH would be ideal

Responsibilities

• Communicating with HMRC
• Preparing Statutory accounts for Limited Companies, Partnerships and Sole Traders
• Preparing Management Accounts
• Reviewing juniors work and helping with training
• Preparing personal tax returns
• Meeting with clients face to face or communicating via telephone/email to discuss any adjustments etc
