Job summary

Addington Ball is seeking a Semi-Senior Accountant to support year-end accounting preparation, VAT reporting and management accounts within a dynamic practice environment. You will work closely with managers and interact with clients across various industries while actively pursuing ACCA/ACA/ICAEW or AAT qualifications.

The role offers fully funded study support, a clear progression path and a comprehensive benefits package, along with a 37.5-hour week and ongoing technical and soft skills

Qualifications

• Active study towards ACCA, ACA (ICAEW) or AAT.
• UK accountancy background experience.
• Ability to communicate with several different stakeholders.
• Take ownership of managing own workload and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare year-end accounts typically for FRS102 (1A) and FRS105.
• Monthly reporting management accounts packs and assisting with advice and guidance.
• VAT returns, data processing and assisting within daily bookkeeping.
