Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a Semi-Senior Accountant for an established Top 100 accountancy practice in the Wolverhampton area. The role focuses on statutory audit support, accounts preparation and delivering high-quality client service from the office.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team and assist senior team members.
• Hands-on proficiency with major accounting software packages.
• Strong technical understanding of draft financial statements and tax computations.
• Practical accounting experience gained within a professional accountancy practice.

Responsibilities

• Prepare draft financial statements and tax computations for Limited Companies.
• Perform analyses and post entries using modern accounting software.
• Produce accurate management accounts for a varied client base.
• Carry out core bookkeeping duties, including VAT returns and Self-Assessment preparation.
• Provide active assistance with audits directly on client sites.
• Assist and support more senior members of the team as required.
• Maintain clear, professional verbal and written communication across all client and internal interactions.
