Job summary

Supreme Search Specialists is seeking a Semi Senior Accountant in Keighley, offering £28,000–£32,000 with a view to higher for the right candidate. This full-time, office-based role manages a portfolio of small business clients and supports senior accountants with accounts preparation and bookkeeping.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of UK practice experience, strong knowledge of cloud accounting (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, FreeAgent), and excellent communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' UK accountancy practice experience.
• Experience across accounts preparation and bookkeeping.
• Exposure to VAT returns and MTD.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of small business clients.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns.
• Assist with accounts preparation and management accounts.
• Collaborate with senior accountants to process entries through trial balance.
• Liaise with clients by phone and email to collect financial information.
• Use cloud bookkeeping software to maintain accurate records.
• Develop client relationships and meet deadlines.
