Job summary

Hyde Accountancy in Harlow is seeking an experienced Mandarin-speaking accountant to join our growing UK practice providing accounting, tax and business advisory services.

You will prepare statutory accounts, manage VAT returns, self-assessment tax returns, reconcile statements, liaise with HMRC and Companies House, and mentor junior staff.

A strong UK accounting background with ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent is valued; Mandarin is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Accountant in a financial services environment or similar sector.
• Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero or equivalent systems.
• Good knowledge of UK accounting and tax compliance.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience preparing limited company accounts.
• Mandarin speaking is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities
