Job Description:

• Accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies—strong skills and initiative required.
• Bookkeeping/Accounts using Sage, Xero, Excel, and QuickBooks, including preparing, processing, and recording bank transactions, processing purchase, sales, and general ledger entries, and producing reports.
• VAT return preparation from client records and online bookkeeping software.
• Filing, scanning, and general admin duties as part of bookkeeping and VAT work.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts work for clients within set deadlines.
• Corporation tax computation.
• Self-assessment tax return computation—strong skills required.
• Proactively communicate regarding bookkeeping and VAT return progress and any issues with clients and managers.
• Payroll experience will be appreciated.
