Bennett & Game are delighted to be working with a local accountancy practice in Nottingham as they recruit for a Semi Senior Accountant. Offering £26,000-£30,000, study support, 24 days holiday plus bank holidays, standard pension auto enrolment, and 1 day a week WFH.

This role is well suited to someone with a minimum of 1 years accountancy practice experience, but ideally someone who can hit the ground running, with a passion for serving clients and delivering an excellent service.

Semi Senior Accountant Job Overview

• Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
• Preparation of personal and corporate tax returns
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns using cloud-based software
• Liaising with clients, consistently delivering an excellent service, answering queries, maintaining relationships, and gathering information
• Preparation of management accounts

Semi Senior Accountant Job Requirements

• AAT Level 3 or AAT Level 4 qualified, or part ACCA/ACA
• Previous experience in accountancy practice, minimum 1-2 years
• Experience in client management, preparing statutory and management accounts, and tax returns
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
• No requirement for visa sponsorship

• Salary range depending on experience. £26,000-£30,000 (potentially higher DOE)
