Semi-senior Accountant

Your new company:

Established for over 50 years as a medium-sized accountancy practice with offices in central London. There are a total of 8 partners and around 80 staff. They provide a full range of professional services including audit and accounts, management consultancy, payroll, and taxation.

They aim to be a go-to firm for SMEs, providing excellent services tailored to the requirements of clients. The practice covers a vast array of client industries, providing a variety of work.

Your new role:

  • Preparing statutory accounts or rental accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
  • Undertaking bookkeeping duties as well as purchase ledger and VAT
  • Preparing management accounts (monthly and quarterly)
  • Ad hoc arrangements (in-house and with clients)
What you will need to succeed:
  • Be AAT qualified or studying the ACCA or ACA.
  • Have 2 years of relevant experience
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Experience in computerized accounts software
  • Be highly motivated to work to deadlines and balance study and work
