Integra Talent are partnering with a growing accountancy firm based in Oldham to recruit a talented and driven Semi Senior Accountant.

This role offers the opportunity to play a key role in preparing accounts, ensuring financial compliance, and offering practical advisory support to a variety of clients across different sectors.

You’ll be responsible for managing your own workload, working closely with senior team members, and providing high-quality accounting services.

Salary:£30,000 - £40,000

Key Responsibilities of the Semi Senior Accountant role are:

• Prepare year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
• Management accounts and VAT returns.
• Ensure accurate records and timely submissions to HMRC and Companies House.
• Liaise directly with clients to gather information and resolve queries.
• Support with bookkeeping tasks and software integration.
• Audit preparation and tax compliance where required.
• Collaborate with colleagues on process improvements and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience working within an accountancy practice is essential.
• Confident communicator, capable of building trusted relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
• Proven end to end accounts preparation experience.
• Comfortable working with accountancy software, tax platforms, and Microsoft Office tools.
• Highly organised and ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Detail-focused with a commitment to delivering quality work.
