TPF Recruitment is partnering with a growing chartered accountancy practice based in Gravesend, looking to recruit an Accounts Semi Senior or Senior to join their expanding Accounts team. This is a fantastic opportunity with a loyal client, offering excellent client exposure and career progression prospects.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare financial accounts for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, and groups.
2. Prepare year-end working paper files and assist auditors.
3. Prepare monthly or quarterly management accounts, including posting journals for accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and payroll.
4. Prepare control reconciliations and analytical review schedules.
5. Maintain clients' accounting records and reconciliations, including bookkeeping, processing client data, and handling queries.
6. Prepare VAT returns.
7. Work at clients' premises as needed, liaising with the bookkeeper/director to prepare accounts and discuss results.
8. Handle general client queries effectively, passing them to relevant team members as necessary.
