Semi Senior Accountant Job Overview

• Review work undertaken by accounts assistants, providing feedback and assisting with training.
• Prepare more complex elements such as VAT controls, PAYE controls, and other challenging areas.
• Draft annual accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
• Conduct analytical reviews of balance sheets and profit and loss accounts.
• Prepare draft tax computations for review.
• Follow instructions from the audit manager on audit assignments, including testing of transactions, fixed assets, debtors, and creditors. (Experience in this area is desirable but not essential.)

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years' experience in accountancy practice.
• ACA/ACCA trainee or fully qualified AAT.
• Audit experience (desirable).
• Ability to commute to the Braintree office.
• No visa sponsorship required.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
