A boutique firm of accountants is seeking an experienced candidate for a semi-senior accounting role. This office-based position involves providing bookkeeping and management accounts for SME clients while handling various responsibilities, including VAT submissions and payroll processes. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in UK accounting, working with multiple clients and cloud-based software.
Our client, a boutique firm of accountants, requires an experienced candidate used to working with multiple clients and an ever-changing workload to join their team. You will be providing bookkeeping and management accounts for SME clients.
The role is office-based, but hours are flexible.
You will have solid experience working in a UK firm of accountants, working with multiple clients, and using cloud-based software (XERO).
Responsibilities include transactional postings, journals, bank reconciliations, and full management account reviews.
Additional duties include CIS & VAT submissions, running end-to-end payroll processes, completion of accounts, year-end accounts, corporation tax returns, VAT returns, monthly/quarterly bookkeeping, and company secretarial duties.
