Qualifications

  • Expérience dans le soutien aux étudiants avec des besoins SEMH.
  • Confiance en enseignement des matières Maths et/ou Anglais.
  • Compétence pour planifier et livrer des programmes d'apprentissage personnalisés.

Responsibilities

  • Tutorat 1:1 ou en petit groupe dans des environnements à domicile ou communautaires.
  • Construire une relation de confiance avec chaque élève.
  • Aider les élèves à se réengager dans l'apprentissage et à renforcer leur confiance en soi.

Job description

Location: Uxbridge, West London
Rate: £20–£30 per hour
Flexible Hours | Part-Time | Immediate Start Available

Are you an experienced educator passionate about supporting young people with SEMH needs? We’re looking for a dedicated tutor to work with learners facing challenges such as anxiety, low self-esteem, and low confidence.

  • QTS or 3+ years of proven tutoring experience

  • Background in supporting students with SEMH needs

  • Confident delivering Maths and/or English from EYFS to GCSE

  • Able to assess, plan and deliver personalised learning programmes

  • Patient, empathetic, and resilient

  • 1:1 or small group tutoring (home or community settings)

  • Build trust and rapport with each learner

  • Help students re-engage with learning and build self-belief

  • Track progress and adjust support as needed

  • £20–£30 per hour (based on experience)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
