At TP Tutors, we are seeking SEMH/SEND tutors to support children in their education!

If you have a passion for working with learners who have special educational needs and disabilities, we are looking for teachers to provide personalised academic support to students across the North Yorkshire area.

This role focuses on helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential through 1:1 and small group sessions.

The role includes:

• Building trust and creating a safe, engaging learning environment.
• Adapting teaching styles and approaches to suit individual needs, including ASD, ADHD, etc.
• Delivering tailored tuition in subjects such as English, Maths, and Science.

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have experience working with children and young people with SEND.
• Possess strong subject knowledge in their chosen area.
• Have a flexible approach to learning, adapting to individual needs.
• Have an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service or are willing to purchase one (TP can support if needed).

Pay rates quoted include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the potential to become permanent later.
