Prospero Teaching is seeking an SEMH Tutor in Oldham to provide 1:1 tuition to a young person with complex special educational needs.
The tutor will support a pupil currently receiving education outside of school, delivering Maths and English. An initial baseline assessment will be conducted to evaluate the student's abilities, followed by tailored curriculum delivery.
Support sessions will take place at the student's home or in a local library, on a part-time basis (up to 25 hours per week).
As an SEMH Tutor, you should be capable of creating, planning, and delivering personalized lessons to address educational gaps and improve attainment. Experience as a teacher or working with children therapeutically in SEN roles is desirable.
