We are looking for a compassionate and experienced SEMH Tutor to provide one-to-one tuition for students in Didcot. The role involves working with learners who face a range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, including anxiety, low confidence, and low self-esteem.

Deliver tailored tuition in Maths and English across Key Stages 1–4
Assess student needs and design personalised schemes of work
Create a safe and nurturing learning environment to support emotional wellbeing
Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning styles and behavioural needs
Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to support student development
Experience working with children and young people with SEMH needs
Confident teaching Maths and English at primary and/or secondary level
Ability to assess, plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons
Empathetic, patient, and consistent in approach
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Competitive hourly rate: £20–£30, depending on experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
