Job summary

Aspire People Limited is recruiting an SEMH Teaching Assistant for a Specialist Primary Alternative Provision in Bolton. This full-time, long-term role starts September and offers a temp-to-perm pathway through a dedicated consultant.

The ideal candidate will have experience with SEMH/SEN and be committed to improving outcomes for vulnerable children. DBS Update Service or willingness to obtain one is required, along with references and right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willing to obtain one.
• Provide references covering the last two years.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support SEMH and SEN pupils.
• Build trusting relationships to support learning.
• Assist delivery of personalised learning and behaviour strategies.
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
• Support pupil independence and resilience.
