Job Title: SEMH Teaching Assistant

Contract Type: Full-time (5 days a week)
Salary: 95 - 100 per day

About the Role

Aspire People are working on behalf of a primary school in Leicester to recruit a dedicated and experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the life of a child by providing 1:1 support. As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with a child who requires additional support in managing their emotions and behaviour within a primary school setting.

  • Providing tailored support to a child with SEMH needs
  • Helping the child engage in class activities and maintain focus
  • Supporting the development of social skills, emotional regulation, and learning
  • Working closely with teachers and support staff to ensure the child\'s needs are met
  • Assisting with the delivery of behaviour management strategies
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a UK school, ideally in an SEMH or SEN role
