Randstad UK is seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to support pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs in a full-time, term-time role at a rural school.

You will work 08:30–15:55, Monday to Friday, provide 1:1 and small group support, assist with IEPs, promote an inclusive learning environment and monitor student progress, with a driver requirement due to rural location.

Formación

• 3–6 months of experience in a school setting or supporting individuals with SEN/SEMH needs.
• Must be available for full-time hours for the entire academic year starting in September.
• Must be a licensed driver with access to a vehicle due to the school's rural location and limited public transport links.

Responsabilidades

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with diverse learning and behavioural needs.
• Assist the class teacher in implementing tailored Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
• Help manage classroom behaviour gently and effectively, promoting emotional well-being.
• Monitor and report on student progress, collaborating closely with teaching staff.
