Job summary

Aspire People is seeking two Teaching Assistants for a SEMH school in Lincoln. The roles involve supporting a teacher in a very small class, managing challenging behaviour and delivering learning activities during 8:30–15:30 term-time. This is a 12-week placement with potential for permanent employment afterward.

Ideal candidates have Level 2 TA qualifications, UK school experience, and willingness to drive to site. Immediate start and UK work eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification preferred.
• Experience in UK schools highly desirable.
• Experience with vulnerable young adults and SEMH settings welcomed.
• Must have or be willing to obtain driving/transport for school access.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support under the guidance of a teacher.
• Assist with learning activities and manage challenging behaviour.
• Support pupils with EHCP goals and ensure a safe learning environment.
