Job summary

Bright Star Talent Limited is seeking a caring SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a Fazakerley school from September. You will support students with challenging behaviour, helping them through difficult mornings and back into learning, while providing consistent, constructive encouragement.

This role relies on empathy, patience and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils. A DBS registered on the Update Service is essential, and you will have a dedicated consultant to support you

Qualifications

• Experience working with SEMH, SEN or challenging behaviour.
• Ability to provide one-to-one and small-group support.
• Patient, calm and able to stay composed in difficult situations.
• Ability to build strong and positive relationships with pupils.
• Understanding that every pupil is different and may need a different approach.
• Understanding safeguarding requirements and policy adherence.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent one-to-one and small-group support.
