Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are working with SEMH Schools in North Birmingham to recruit Unqualified, Level 2 and Level 3 Teaching Assistants. The schools cater to KS1–KS4 pupils with SEND/SEMH needs. Experience in SEMH or SEND is essential; empathetic, patient and resilient staff are needed as some days can be challenging.

Roles include day-to-day, short-term and full-time commitments. Higher pay scales require proven school experience, relevant qualifications and strong references.

Tradewind Recruitment are working with several different SEMH Schools in North Birmingham who are recruiting Unqualified, Level 2 and Level 3 TA's

The schools ages range from KS1 to KS4 for children with SEMH.

The schools are part SEND/SEMH Trusts and SEND Local Authority Schools with a range SEND, SEMH and Mental Health needs.

The schools are looking to recruit Teaching Assistants to support day to day, short term and full time within there schools School experience is desirable but not essential, however SEMH or SEND experience is essential. It is essential your empathetic, patient and resilient as a lot of the pupils in school communicate through action which means days can be challenging.

To achieve the higher pay scales for these roles; you must have proven experience in schools, relevant qualifications and supporting references.
