NextGen Teachers are currently recruiting for an experienced and compassionate SEMH teaching assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive specialist school in Huddersfield.
This school offers a safe and supportive environment for pupils aged between 5 and 18 years old with Autism and/or social,emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH). The young people may have a number of diagnoses including ASD, ADHD, FASD, anxiety and/or, communication and interaction, cognition and learning needs.
This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for a caring, resilient and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs.
You will work as part of a dedicated and experienced team, helping pupils access learning, develop their confidence and independence, and achieve their individual goals.
As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils across the school with their educational, social, emotional and developmental needs.
