SEMH Teaching Assistant – Levenshulme – September Start
Are you passionate about supporting young people facing social, emotional, or mental health challenges? A caring and inclusive secondary school in Levenshulme is looking to appoint a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their team from September on a full-time basis.
In this vital role, you will work closely with students who may struggle to engage with learning due to emotional, behavioural, or mental health needs. You'll provide consistent, tailored support both in and out of the classroom—helping pupils regulate behaviour, build positive relationships, and develop the confidence to thrive in a school environment.
Your work will include one-to-one mentoring, small group interventions, and collaboration with teaching and pastoral staff to implement strategies that promote wellbeing and inclusion. Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential qualities for success in this role.

Pay: £89.38 – £100 per day (dependent on experience)
