The HireWorks Ltd is seeking SEMH Support Staff for an Alternative Provision to help students with social, emotional and mental health needs engage with education, build confidence and develop positive behaviours.
You will work hands-on, form strong relationships with pupils, and contribute to a welcoming, supportive school environment. Experience is helpful but not required; a compassionate mindset and resilience are key, with training provided and opportunities for progression.
Are you driven to make a real difference in the lives of children with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs? Do you have the resilience, patience, and passion to support young people who need it most? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
We are working with a fantastic SEMH alternative provision that is looking to welcome dedicated and proactive support staff to their team. This is a highly rewarding role where no two days are the same, and where your impact will be truly meaningful.
You will support students with SEMH needs, helping them engage with education, build confidence, and develop positive behaviours. The role is hands-on and requires individuals who are willing to get stuck in and build strong, trusting relationships with pupils.
We particularly encourage applications from psychology graduates or individuals looking to start a career in education, mental health, or youth work. With structured training and development, this role can open up the right doors and help you build a strong foundation for your future career.
We are able to offer both temporary and permanent roles, depending on availability and your preference.
