The role will involve:

Creating a safe and engaging classroom environment that supports SEMH learners

Differentiating teaching to meet a wide range of emotional, behavioural, and academic needs

Building strong, trusting relationships with students to promote engagement and self-esteem

Working closely with support staff, parents/carers, and external agencies

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Experience teaching across multiple subjects at a primary or lower-secondary level

Proven ability to support pupils with SEMH needs and manage challenging behaviour

A trauma-informed, patient, and consistent approach to classroom practice

A commitment to inclusive education and whole-child development

This is a highly rewarding opportunity for a teacher who wants to make a tangible difference in a specialist setting where every small step forward is a big achievement.
