Key Responsibilities of the SEMH Teacher:

• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and parents to ensure individual progress.
• Implement behaviour management strategies and therapeutic approaches.

Requirements for the SEMH Teacher role:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Previous experience working with SEMH or within alternative provisions.
• Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills.
• Empathy, patience, and excellent relationship-building abilities.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
