SEMH Teacher

Location: Wellingborough
Salary: Competitive, dependant on salary

Simply Education is seeking an outstanding SEMH Teacher to join our dedicated team and create a supportive, structured, and engaging learning environment where every student can succeed.

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons to students with SEMH and additional learning needs
  • Build trusting, positive relationships with pupils to support their emotional well-being and academic progress
  • Manage behaviour effectively using trauma-informed and restorative approaches
  • Work closely with support staff, pastoral teams, and external agencies to provide holistic care
  • Foster a safe, inclusive and nurturing classroom culture

You'll Need:

  • QTS/QTLS (or relevant teaching qualification)
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs (in mainstream or specialist settings)
  • A strong understanding of behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies
  • Patience, adaptability, and a genuine commitment to inclusive education
  • The ability to remain calm, reflective and solution-focused under pressure
