An established industry player is seeking a dedicated SEMH Teacher to join their team in Burnley. This full-time role involves working with students aged 11-16 who have special educational needs and social, emotional, and mental health challenges. SEMH Teacher
Teaching Personnel is looking to help to recruit a full-time SEMH Secondary Teacher. The school caters for students aged 11-16 with SEN/ SEMH difficulties and those who display challenging behaviours. To be successful, experience supporting challenging children is required.
The school is looking to appoint a dedicated and patient individual who has experience working with or teaching those who have special educational needs. Teachers with either primary or secondary teaching experience are encouraged to apply.
The Role
The full-time role is available ASAP for the remainder of the academic year. The cover is required due to a maternity leave within the school; the first week in school would be crucial as it would be a transition week. The Head Teacher has said there is flexibility in terms of where this educator will be placed, based on their specialism/ subject knowledge and skillset.
A successful candidate must be confident working 1:1 and teaching small groups of children. The school focuses on the individual needs of each child; therefore, the successful candidate must be able to differentiate work to optimise learning for each child.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
