We are looking for a patient individual to join a highly inclusive school in Haringey, known for its commitment to addressing the diverse needs of its students. This role involves providing support to students, with a focus on those experiencing social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges. Experience in de-escalation techniques is highly desirable. Key Duties: • Supporting both academic progress and emotional well-being • Applying de-escalation methods to manage difficult situations • Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff • Keeping thorough and accurate records Qualifications and Skills: • Proven experience working with at-risk youth, particularly boys with SEMH needs • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities • Demonstrable patience, empathy, and an unbiased attitude • Capability to stay composed under pressure and handle challenging behaviours effectively • Relevant qualifications or training, such as safeguarding or behaviour management is desirable Competitive salary: £93.48 upwards a day Working hours: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM Role: Support for Boys with SEMH Needs Location: Haringey
