Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people is essential.
• Experience supporting SEMH, SEN, challenging behaviour or additional needs is desirable.
• Patient, empathetic and resilient approach.

• Genuine passion for helping children succeed.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils with SEMH needs, emotional regulation and behavioural challenges.
• Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
• Promoting positive behaviour, confidence and independence.
• Supporting pupils to engage with lessons and access learning.
• Working with teachers and school staff to create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Helping pupils develop social skills, resilience and emotional wellbeing.
