A privately funded SEND school in Huddersfield is seeking an SEMH Secondary Teacher starting September 2025. The role involves teaching a Year 10 class, preferably in English or Science, to students with Autism and SEMH difficulties. Applicants must have Qualified Teaching Status and experience with SEN. The role is term-time only, with a salary range of £28k - £38K.

Core Education are proud to be working with a privately funded SEND school, based in Huddersfield, who are looking for a specialist SEN/ SEMH Teacher to start in September. The school offers a safe and supportive environment for young people aged between 5 and 18 with Autism and/or social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH). There young people may have a number of diagnoses including ASD, ADHD, FASD, anxiety and/or, communication and interaction, cognition, and learning needs.
The school are looking for a candidate who is able to teach a year 10 class and can teach English or Science. This is preferred, but not necessary.
