SEMH Secondary Teacher

Location: South Tyneside
Start: As soon as possible
Salary: £130–£210 per day (depending on experience)

Are you a dedicated teacher with a passion for making learning accessible to every child? This specialist secondary provision is seeking a committed SEND Teacher to join their team, supporting pupils with additional needs across KS3 and KS4.

  • Planning and delivering tailored lessons that engage and inspire students with SEND
  • Creating a positive, structured learning environment where pupils feel safe and supported
  • Working closely with support staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure every child thrives
  • Using adaptive teaching strategies to meet a wide range of needs, from autism and ADHD to SEMH and complex learning difficulties

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
