Are you a passionate and dedicated primary teacher with experience supporting children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs?

Our partnered esteemed SEN school in Wisbech is seeking an enthusiastic Qualified SEMH Primary Teacher to join their team of passionate educators. Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet the needs of pupils with SEMH.
  • Create a nurturing, structured, and supportive classroom environment that promotes emotional wellbeing and learning.
  • Develop and implement individualised Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) in partnership with families and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Use trauma-informed, restorative, and behaviour management strategies to support positive outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, and external professionals to provide holistic support.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress regularly, adapting teaching approaches to meet evolving needs.
  • Contribute actively to whole-school initiatives and professional development activities.
  • Uphold safeguarding and child protection policies rigorously.

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching pupils with SEMH.
  • Child DBS on the update service
  • Has a strong understanding of SEMH challenges and effective strategies to support learners.
  • Is patient, resilient, and committed to inclusion and positive behaviour support.
  • Communicates effectively with pupils, families, and colleagues.
