The Position - SEMH Primary Teacher:
As a Teacher of SEMH in this Outstanding SEMH Primary School, you will be required to teach a KS2 class of 9 students, all of whom have Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties. One student in the class has high functioning Autism and is supported on a 1:1 basis. You must have the ability to tailor the UK National Curriculum to your class as the ability levels of the students vary. Your lessons must be very fun and hands-on to keep students engaged. Ideally, you will have previous experience in a similar setting or have a keen interest to teach challenging students.

This SEMH Primary found in the beautiful London Borough of Brent is looking for a strong, dedicated and enthusiastic SEMH Primary Teacher to join their team from the new academic year in September. The school caters for students aged 3-11 years; however, a majority are in KS2. The school has a strict behaviour policy as well as a very equal reward strategy in place to get the most out of their students and prepare them for secondary school. The school is very accessible from outside areas and benefits from many transport and road links. In their last Ofsted, they were reviewed as Good and Outstanding in Leadership and Management. The school has their own training centre and offers weekly training to staff at all levels as they are very dedicated to CPD.
